With Ash Wednesday almost upon us (!!!), one of my Lenten resolutions is to try and update this blog as much as I can with various meditations and musings for you lovely readers during our Lenten journey. That way, we can all spend some hours with the Lord, and maybe grow in knowledge, love, and service of Him in a way we hadn't expected.
That being said, I try to be creative, but if there are any Bible quotes/passages, stories from lives of the Saints, phrases or things from everyday life, or
anything else that you would like a meditation (or a musing) on, please let me know by writing in this post's comment box.
Feel free to request things all throughout Lent. I'm hoping to have some response, but if not, I will simply write whatever the Spirit is moving me toward that day.
In the meantime, I have a meditation lined up for Ash Wednesday that I should be posting either tonight or early tomorrow. Keep checking back for that. And, I have recently updated the
Humorous Things page, so please check that out. None of the material is mine; I just wanted to share it.
But, what can you, dear reader, do for me?
- Comment if you have any requests for meditations, etc.
- Follow the blog. There is a box where you can sign up to follow the blog via email updates on the right side of your screen.
- Tell your family, friends, classmates, roommates, pastors, fellow parishioners ... everyone about the blog! The more, the merrier.
- Please be patient. As any writer will tell you, the creative process is CRAZY! And, I am taking on a few added responsibilities for the Lenten season, so if I can't update it everyday, I'm sorry. As unpatient as I am most days, I really do appreciate when people are patient with me.
- Pray for me, my family and friends, and for all of my dear readers (yourself included).
